Chapter 7: Back to school; Back to Fear

When the summer began, there was a growing sense of dread. No, not for those that wanted to get back to normal. Most had moved on. Those who enjoyed the benefits of the lockdowns, however, kept their eyes on screens for a glimpse of hysteria. Politicians could not allow themselves to be seen as taking Covid-19 lightly. The media, politicians, and Public Health ‘experts’ ginned up 2^nd wavism to a fever pitch. The coming US election played a significant role in the hysteria. The propaganda class was desperate to remove Trump at any cost.

If there was no pandemic, there would be no need for mass mail in voting that is historically and logically less secure than in in person voting. With the ideology that believes ‘the ends justify the means’ progressives (politicians and media; but I repeat myself) were willing to become fascist to defeat the ‘fascist’ Trump.¹ Do anything to stop Trump. By Hook or by Crook. This is not an insistence of a secret cabal that continued the pandemic hysteria intentionally (maybe). Most of this elitist class are living in an echo chamber of a self-perpetuating culture of fear and hysteria in which the government is the only solution

he Canadian progressives who hate America, and all that it stands for, have a perverse love-hate desire to be recognized by progressive America. If you offered any “Red-blooded Proud Canadian” progressive a meager salary to live in New York or Hollywood or Washington DC they would take the next flight. If you want a Canadian progressive to do something, tell them they will receive attention from Americans.

At the end of September, the following model was released predicting a massive increase in the occupancies of hospital beds in a tweet by Anthony Furey. The hysteria was at a fever pitch heading into the “second wave”. At the start of chapter 8, the actual numbers will be displayed.

Ontario schools were opened for the first time since Covid began. Parents (and students) were given the option of enrolling their students virtually in public schools. Masks were still not mandatory (except for Toronto) and not required until October 3, 2020² as the second wave had already begun. The virtual classes were offered a separate entity like Durham Catholic who created a Virtual School. Basically, students in virtual school never had to set foot into a school. Alternatively students could go back to their “home-school” with extra rules (limited sized classes, social distancing, and other signs or placards that will stop covid in its tracks!).

Students, however, were headed back to school throughout the province and a bit of normalcy returned. There were mask laws across Canada that had exemptions for young persons or persons unable to put on a mask themselves, or while engaged in fitness, or consuming food/drinks, or medically exempt. Hysteria often overruled logic and safety. Students were forced to exercise in useless masks that increased CO₂ content for air intake. Exemptions were often ignored, mocked, or punished. Medical exemptions are private medical information, and it is an invasion of privacy to ask for someone to share this information. If this was followed, then there would have been no problem. All masking laws are basically not enforceable. Mounting pressure (hysteria) removed these exemptions from practical implementation. The march towards safety trumped rights.

‘Exemption? You need to show me your paper for that. No? You won’t show your paper? We’ll I’m kicking you out!’. Disregarding how both medical exemptions and privacy or trespass laws work in Canada. Many Canadians were swiftly trespassed or physically or verbally assaulted over medical exemptions. Furthermore, masks were only required, by the law, when physical distancing (2m/6ft) could not be maintained. This was essentially ignored. The shoot first, ask questions later mentality of going all in on “extra protection” “couldn’t hurt anyone.”

Exams were cancelled for the year as the process of completing an exam online was a logistic nightmare for teachers and administrators. For the sake of consistency, exams for in-person school were cancelled. Zoom school began with all its limitations. Students did not wish to be on camera, students did not learn as effectively, clubs and sports were all but cancelled and the introduction of Covid apathy. The already low expectations were further lowered by the typical phrase “Oh, it’s because of covid” or some such other excuse to explain away bad behaviour. It was never the covid policies just the disease. It was the disease that caused bad customer service or bad student performance.

When the autumn leaves began to fall, reality of the situation was setting in for most Canadians. Most businesses were in financial trouble. A weak patio season and decreased sales for ‘non-essential’ items caused, for most restaurants and retail outlets, a decline into insolvency or bankruptcy.³ Businesses were told to keep paying their employees and received minimal relief of money while being punished for trying to provide more services due to government handout structure. Protests began to form as the never-ending lockdown continued to be renewed with ever increasing and convoluted rules.

Many were concerned, especially with the mask mandate that put the onus on businesses to become enforcers of unjust laws. It also, did not help that these laws were poorly constructed and changed monthly on a politician’s whim. Fearful business owners that had been harassed and oppressed by the government were scraping by. Desperate to stay open and not lose all their hard work and investment, many were all too willing to just comply. The Covid Gestapo complained about the spreading of a disease with a 0.05% survival rate. On the rare case of big box stores (that never closed) violated covid rules. The big box stores were only closed for a week or two. Distribution centres and factories that hummed along with case after case. They could not be shut down since they were essential. The media de-boosted these stories while boosting crazed conspiracy theories of covid spreading outdoors with no evidence.⁴

Gyms that had been opened began to close once again after November 3, 2020, when the Ontario government under Premier Ford abandoned their current lockdown plan to switch to a five-tiered colour-coded system.⁵ Green, yellow, orange, red than grey from decreased to increased severity. Toronto and areas within most of the GTA immediately went into the red zone while most other places went into the yellow or orange zones. Case counts continued to rise, as covid test kits became more available. This then fed into the continued fear mongering which led to case counting and testing. A vicious cycle. Tensions rose. The heel of the government dug into the neck of the people. Remember they oppress you for the greater good.

Great Barrington Declaration and Other Resistance

On October 4^th, 2020, Dr. Martin Kulldorff, Dr. Sunetra Gupta and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya authored and signed what came to be called the Great Barrington Declaration raising concerns about the policies used to deal with Covid-19 and recommended a change to “Focused Protection.”¹ “The most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity, is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk. We call this Focused Protection.” The Great Barrington Declaration essentially called for governments to adopt their Emergency Preparedness Plan. The group called for the re-opening of life for all persons that are at minimal risk and voluntary participation of persons at higher risk to allow for build up of herd immunity. The statement was signed by 44 other medical professionals from across the world.

The banning of several doctors and scientists from Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube/Google, caused further scorn for prominent journalists and technocrats. They could not stand these pesky scientists and doctors questioning their Science^TM orthodoxy. Thankfully, these tech employees graduated from medical schools and have a deep background in research and virology! Dr. Fauci,^{2 3} in America, and Dr. Tam, in Canada, and other elitist Scientist^TM around the world pushed to redefine herd immunity away from the conventional definition towards a vaguer definition with a higher threshold.⁴

Dr. Tam went so far as to say on April 25^th, 2020, that the “[virus] can actually result in quite severe outcomes for the young” (italics added by author) and “so the idea of, sort of, generating natural immunity is actually, not something that should be undertaken.”⁵ Even in April 2020, this statement is delusional. It does not reflect the reality that acquired immunity occurs and healthy children and these children were at extremely negligible risk from Covid-19. Yes, children can get sick and can die from covid (due to pre-existing conditions or dying WITH covid rather than FROM covid). Dr. Tam, who should be reading and intelligently interpreting current covid data, continued to fearmonger about children. She fabricated and spread the fiction that children were at high risk from covid. This simply was not, nor ever true regarding Covid-19. Her second statement is a rebuff of the idea of herd immunity and natural immunity that has been proven to be present in the population. Studies showed that persons who contracted SARS-CoV-1 in 2003 had some immunity to Covid.⁶ Did Dr. Tam not know this, or did she ignore it?

Dr. Tam along with the covid Cabal treated Covid-19 first like it was nothing and then flip completely to treating it as the super plague that followed no other pathogen’s trend. Herd immunity was out. Acquired immunity was also tossed aside. Natural immunity was out. Covid-19 was unlike any previous SARS or airborne disease! It was everywhere! Symptomatic transmission! Asymptomatic transmission! On surfaces or in the water! And if you got covid you died! At no point during these months was any Public Health official in Canada concerned with treatment of Covid. There was no attempt to look up previous treatments that worked for SARS-CoV-1. ‘Covid patients that went to the hospital, were put on pain killers. Then ventilator. Then died!’

Any person trained in science should hear red warning siren of skepticism. These medical advisors appeared to grant the worst-case scenario of any situation involving covid ignoring the strong likelihood that SARS-Covid-19, although spreading much more rapidly than SARS-CoV-1, came from the same family of virus and was likely similar in many respects. Caution can be expected but there must be limits to caution. One must ask to what end? The most plausible explanation for those within the American sphere was the fortification of the American Election. To get Trump. ‘Non-profits’ sued states and illegally changed voter rules by courts rather than by legislators. To allow for less secure mass mail in voting. Funded in large part by Mark Zuckerberg as a massive undisclosed campaign donation.

Hysteria spread rapidly. ‘Maybe this virus would not have acquired immunity after infection.’⁷ Yet the viral infections had already been proven to have lasting immunity. However, the role out of a vaccine and the up coming November 3^rd (ish – Election week) US election caused a need to prolong the crisis.

Demands for ‘vaccines or bust’ were written in the politician’s/special interest room to be screamed on TVs to a captive political class. Covid would have likely ended in 5 minutes if we cut the internet and TV for politicians. ‘A virus so deadly you need to be tested to know you have it!’. The mindset shows the lunacy of the position as a vaccine can only work if the body can acquire immunity. The entire idea of being saved by a vaccine is based on the concepts that Canadians were told no longer existed for this super plague.

For Dr. Tam there are two options:

1. Dr. Tam is completely unqualified and should be fired. (Incompetent)

2. Dr. Tam knows that she is spreading misinformation and fear to control the population. (Evil)

Both should result in her firing which Conservative leadership candidate Derek Sloan (MP for Hastings Lennox and Addington in Ontario) called for in April of 2020. Posting a clip, he questioned her flip-flopping and adherence to the W.H.O. The same W.H.O. who helped the CCP lie about the epidemic.⁸ The usual propaganda suspects screamed, “racist attack” other than being a thought stopper, they subscribed to the CCP propaganda that any criticism of a Chinese person (Dr. Tam is from Hong Kong) is racist. Liberal MPs and their minions called for him to resign while ‘Conservatives’ like Scott Reid called for an apology. Sloan did something rarely seen in Canadian politics from a conservative. He did not back down, nor apologize. Weak Scheer (outgoing leader of the conservatives) hesitatingly criticized Sloan.

Unfortunately, Sloan lost the leadership election to “totally true blue” conservative Erin O’Toole. O’Toole (yes that is his name) campaigned as a blue tory for leadership only to come out as a progressive red tory leader. The typical “I know I won leadership and am up in the polls as a blue Tory, but progressives tell me I have no chance of winning unless I adopt their policies!” O’Toole was a swamp creature. O’Toole during the leadership campaign he stood by Sloan saying he respected his free speech right. However, milk toast O’Toole lacked the luster and energy of Sloan. O’Toole contrived to eject him from caucus on January 20, 2021. The cause? Sloan had been conducting grassroot organizations to fight the lockdowns and O’Toole’s progressive policies.

The conservative party booted Sloan for accepting a donation from a fake name that ended up being an alleged neo-Nazi. Once the name was determined to be fake Sloan’s campaign refunded the money but apparently this was enough to kick him out. Clearly, this was a punishment in search of a reason hung upon the first conceivable post. It just happened that an NDP got their hands on the fact that Sloan received a donation from a fake name connected to an alleged neo-nazi?⁹ Suffice to say, it reeked of if not a smear job, an inside job by the disgusting political toast that is weak O’Toole.

O’Toole’s numbers continued to sink as conservatives rightfully saw him betray every leadership campaign promise like a Federal Patrick Brown. The court jester conservative game. The conservative court jesters smear you for not being progressive: “you’re evil! Racist! Sexist!”. Instead of telling progressives to “shove it” a court jester conservative will play along. Dance their tune and dance! Progressives got a good laugh out of O’Toole dancing to their tune in his too tight shoes as they were never, ever going to vote for him. “But guys just vote conservative! We gotta remove Liberals! So, what if we get the same policies!” What does the red Tory get out of this deal? They can sacrifice any of their opposition to the woke mob and be eaten last.

With no political representation several disaffected politicians formed the “End the Lockdowns National Caucus”. Notable politicians including Maxine Bernier of the People’s Party of Canada (PPC), Randy Hillier (formally of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party) and Derek Sloan along with many local councillors and mayors.¹⁰ Calling for the end to the lockdowns, they signed an agreement on February 2, 2021. As the lockdowns continued the caucus members attended protests in B.C., Alberta (at GraceLife), Ontario and Quebec receiving many tickets for hosting these events.

By-Law Insanity

On December 20, 2020, news broke from Calgary with a twitter video of a 21-year-old male tasered by police on an outdoor rink. Ocean Wiesblatt’s interaction with the police went viral. A violent arrest for guys playing hockey on an outdoor rink.^{11 12} Hockey! On an OUTDOOR RINK! This was not covid friendly! Bylaw tyrants were pissy because there were allegedly 40 people playing hockey. To enforce BYLAWS, they called the police and instead of a conversation the disgraced Calgary Police went immediately to violence. The two female officers escalated the situation when Ocean asked for clarification before following the police directions. Eventually Ocean was hauled to the ground, and they cut his skates off.

Of course, anyone interacting with the police should comply (within reason) and sue later. The amateurish and dangerous behaviour of these police officers should be a fire-able offense if not a severe reprimand. The police released a statement about resisting arrest and there being 40 people at the rink. Breaking a silly bylaw should not result in this escalation by these thugs in police uniforms. Stupid bylaws like not playing hockey outside or basketball or at a playground should be ignored as they violate charter rights. Calgary health unit (or AHS or any Canadian public health unit) have zero evidence (such as contact tracing) to show that playing a sport outside has led to covid cases or spread. No risk assessment of outdoor exercise causing beyond normal transmission levels has been conducted. But evidence, even if you have more than a year to get it, is not important.

Covid Camps and Propaganda

Former conservative MPP Randy Hillier, who was kicked out of the party for disagreeing with the lockdown orthodoxy, stood up in provincial parliament to ask about documents he had obtained referring to government quarantine camps on October 8, 2020.¹⁴ The organs of the government quickly sprang into action. The CBC,¹⁵ politicians and other media rags^{16 17} jumped at the opportunity to smear Randy. Health Canada (PHAC) stated, “No one will be required to go to such an isolation site, Health Canada confirmed Tuesday” (underline added by author).¹⁵ Thus confirming the crazy conspiracy theory. They used semantics to justify giving Hillier a ‘fact-check false, while admitting “federally designated quarantine sites, typically hotel rooms, are not internment camps”.¹⁶

Of course, these ‘hotels’ were not ‘camps’ so Hillier is crazy! Another trick of a propagandist is to grant all premises and definitions of their preferred side. It does not matter if one is taken off and locked up at a ‘hotel’ they will not consider it a prison because their team refuses to call it a prison. The claim that Canadians were not required to go to Quarantine hotels is misleading. It was a false choice. Go to prison or pay the fine. Oddly, politicians were exempt from this rule.

The 14-day quarantine required for any traveller coming from abroad to Canada was still in affect. From November and December Ford sought to get the 14-day quarantine reduced much to the dismay and anger of the media.¹⁸ Quarantine hotels became part of the federal governments plan during the second wave on January 29^th, 2021. The CBC defended the decision with fear mongering tactics of a ‘new variant’. Persons were required to quarantine at unknown sites until they had negative test (regardless of if they had a pre-flight negative covid test) and continue 14-day quarantine at home. If positive, for covid, they were required to stay the entire 14-days.

A quarantined person was required to foot the bill at a fixed rate without access to food outside of the hotel. Besides violating basic Charter Rights of Canadians, the timing was pathetic. It was halfway through the second wave. Of course, if you qualified (Or were a member of the Regime) you could avoid these secret quarantine sites. Travelers were actively discouraged from seeking legal council or calling family or friends or posting on the internet. What could possibly go wrong? (see chapter 9 for an update)

Adamson Barbecue Rebellion

On November 23, 2020, Adam Skelly of Adamson Barbecue decided to open his restaurant on 7 Queen Elizabeth Blvd in Toronto for indoor and outdoor dining, against the holy orders of covid tyrants. Adam stated on an Instagram account, “For anybody who is a fan of freedom and sovereignty, the right to choose what you wear, where to go, who to have over at your house, what businesses you can go to, I would love to meet you.”²⁰ The next morning on Tuesday hundreds came to dine. When interviewed by Mr. Menzies of Rebel News, Adam questioned the logic of trying to force business owners to enforce arbitrary bylaw rules. ‘I serve you burger… Also, can I make sure you believe in the Holy Covid mask?’. Several police arrived with bylaw enforcement threatening fines of $10,000 to $100,000 and a year in jail.²¹ The propaganda media, in their outrage also flocked to the barbecue but received a harsh welcome.

Media crews attempted to come onto the property to get coverage. Adam Skelly promptly kicked them off his property. The crowd backed Adam with chants of “CBC sucks!” meaning the Canadian Broadcast Corporation that propagandises for Trudeau and progressives.²² Adrian Ghobrial of City News walked onto the property proclaiming that the protest was a “circus” and “conspiracy theory”, “welcoming a self-described white nationalist”, “anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers”²³ projecting his conspiracy theories upon the crowd. When asked to leave Adrian was incensed! How could Adam Skelly kick him, the unbiased news media, off his property! Adam allowed fair news sources (like Rebel Media’s David Menzies and Sun News’ Joe Warmington).

In his very own coverage Adrian has only a few seconds before walking on to the property and getting kicked off in which he defames Adam and calls the entire crowd vile names. As Auron Macintyre, American columnist for the Blaze, says, “You don’t hate journalists enough. You think you do but you don’t.” Adrian perfectly represents the propagandist media that hate you but then one second later they put on a friendly charisma mask and expect you to be civil with them. Watch the video²⁴ as Adrian and his crew go from bold journalist to impotent peeping Toms across the street in a few short minutes. Adrian does not wish to report the news, he is an activist should be ignored and scorned. The news media in Canada have an unofficial motto: ‘we tell you the truth; you just have to read between the lies.’

On the next day, the barbeque opened again but the rebellion was short lived. The police had visited during the nighttime at the behest of Dr. Eileen De Villa (who queened herself judge, jury, and executioner) to change the locks on his business. Skelly undeterred went into the property behind (that was also owned by him) with food which police attempted to seize but were blocked by protesters. Skelly than surprised the police by knocking the wall down between the two buildings and entered his restaurant to kick down the ‘seized door’.²⁵ Skelly was seized by the police, handcuffed, and arrested with a patrol of around 10 mounted police officers charged in. Sleezy, cheating Mayor John Tory and “Above the Law” De Villa were not messing around.²⁶ Had any cases been traced to there? No. Just down the street more people were milling about at a large Costco buying food from the corporate overlords. Of course, racist grifters like Huffington Post called this white supremacy because it is a day ending in ‘y’.²⁷

Eventually, Skelly was released and given a bill for the raid on his restaurant amounting to $187,000. Toronto police representative Supt. Domenic Sinopoli accidently misspoke when talking to the reporters saying, “Last night, we received an order from Justice – sorry – Dr. de Villa essentially giving us power under the – or her power—under the Health Protection Act to seize the property.”²⁸ As Ezra Levant (of Rebel News) pointed out there is no authority by Dr. de Villa to seize property but this dangerous president continued as the courts remained asleep. Skelly was also banned from using social media by the judge on his conditions of release and were not relaxed until January 22, 2021, by a superior court.²⁸

One may hate Adam Skelly and his opinions or his tactics, but the methods used by the Toronto police (just following orders…) and Public Health Toronto under Cruella Dr. de Villa should shock and disturb anyone that wishes to live in a free society. No due process, property seizure, no courts involved, sending the police bill to the citizen all because he wanted to cook lunch and refused to enforce bylaws that are unconstitutional. And Canadians wept as the courts slept.

Adam raised $300,000 which were drained during endless legal battles, and he eventually left (like many Ontarians) to greener pastures in Alberta. With a government bankrupted business he bought a farm in Alberta and moved his family. Participating in Freedom convoy he resurfaced formally during the end of the 2023 year to ask for help to gain funding of $32,000 towards lawsuit to challenge the validity of the Reopening Ontario Act Lockdown Regulation 82/20. The Crown successfully argued to a judge that Adam should be forced to pay a security. It was difficult (although sadly not too hard for corrupt judges) to pretend that Adam was not personally and irrevocably harmed by covid policies. Nor could any sane legal expert defend the crazy Cruella De Villa power grab.^{29 30}

With the end of the US election, the most secure and fortified election of all time, electing the most popular president ever on November 3, 2020, some hoped the covid hysteria that had built up would decrease. They were sadly mistaken.
