Chapter 6: Summer Reprieve
The summer was warm and saw the majority of Canadians ignoring the more onerous lockdown rules. They had their own eyes to see cases drop. Sure, the fear mongering ‘news’ and politicians kept up the doomsday crier, but other events took focus away from these attention whores.
In Montreal, a man was pepper sprayed and roughly detained by two Montreal police on July 7th for not wearing a mask in the Tim Hortons giving him a court summons.1 Vice premier minister Guilbault would go on to say, “a person doesn’t want to wear the mask when it is now mandatory since Saturday. I think that this is a very minimal bother, considering the risk… considering the disadvantages of not wearing a mask.” going on to threaten closure of the economy if Quebecers did not comply.2 What are these risks? What are the benefits? Who knows? Guilbault the fool surely does not know because he did not do a risk assessment.
On May 25th, 2020, George Floyd died with excessively high levels of fentanyl after struggling with police. The original video that was leaked showed officer Derek Chauvin in a stance that appeared to show him kneeling on his neck with a nonchalant manner for over nine minutes.1 Race grifters descended on Minneapolis to incite a riot causing looting and burning of hundreds of buildings in that city alone. Sadly, the racial incitement against black neighbourhoods continued from BLM (a Marxist activist wing of the democratic party) causing over $2 billion in damage. To those useful agitators (looking for a 4th home) Floyd’s death would prove exceptionally profitable.3
Covid restrictions across the country were flaunted with mass protests in the day and riots in the night. All those quick virtue signalers ran to the closest protest they could find and ‘took a knee’ for Floyd (an odd homage considering his death, but it was supposed to relate to Colin Kaepernick’s ‘taking a knee during the national anthem’). Justin Trudeau, police officers, RCMP chief and officers all took a knee before the unedited video of the entire Floyd incident was released.
Of course, taking a knee was symbolic and did nothing but embolden the mob with righteous fury as the looting and rioting continued. Canada, luckily, was not hit with mass rioting and looting. Watching our neighbours to the south burn down black neighbourhoods in the name of BLM was sickening. “Scientists” and “Doctors'' came out of the woodwork to claim that these mass gatherings (protests and rioting) were not ‘super-spreader events.’4 Actually, in some cases, they claimed it caused a decrease in covid cases.5 6 While persons attempting small protests against lockdowns were called “yahoos” by Premier Ford on April 25, 2020, and were strictly ticket and clear Queen’s park (the demonstration area for provincial legislature).7 Condemnations of BLM protests and rioting was absent from Premier Ford or any other Canadian leader’s mouth.
The leaked bodycam footage, that the democrat Attorney General (AG) attempted to suppress, showed a resisting and very intoxicated Mr. Floyd. In the long video Mr. Floyd attempted to stall and get rid of drugs while being detained. Race hustlers thrive on complex messy cases. How would race vultures make their cash without playing on emotions? While BLM and ActBlue shovelled money to a morose democrat campaign the infection of critical race theory (CRT) begin to metastasize. Suddenly, neo-racists like Ibhram X Kendi and Robin DiAngelo became household names. With their message “you are racist and need to repent for their whiteness.”

To these neo-racists, racism and white were a semantically overburdened word had two or more meanings that hide or play rhetoric games between. Critical race theory (the basis of anti-racism or as I refer to it as neo-racism/race Marxism) is the rejection of truth. Racism means, in the liberal sense, undo prejudice based on race. To a neo-racist, however, it also means disparity of outcome between races. Thereby anything, such as personal decision or demographics that lead to disparity of outcome, is the fault of racism and requires discrimination to fix. White means skin colour when they wish, but it can also mean ‘white’ culture (work ethic or rugged individualism from NMAAHC see picture below from actual document released) when they wish or both.
Justin Trudeau, being a race Marxist, would jump at the opportunity kneel for Floyd. It is to be expected from a Marxist lover like Trudeau. The silence was deafening from the Federal conservative’s party that then changed to acceptance and pushing of BLM neo-racism from the federal and provincial level.
The Ford progressive “conservative” government announced, near the end of the summer, that they would be changing education policy. Gone were the suspensions of students grade 3 or under by citing a disproportionate number of black and indigenous students suspended compared to students of another ethnic group. Disparity of outcome means racism. Thereby calling all teachers and principals in Ontario that have suspended black/indigenous students racist. Second, the Ford government would also move to remove streaming (academic/applied or university vs college bound) for grade 9 & 10 citing again a disproportionate number of black and indigenous students being “pushed” into college level.8 9 Who needs progressive neo-racists when you have progressive neo-racist conservatives! Either the rules were racist (as in the students of different skin colours could not follow the rules because they were different than other students) or the teachers were racist. Both these answers do nothing but give neo-racists more money.
If you wish to understand why neo-racism is wrong, think about the following problem. You own a clothing store and two young men come into the store one after another. The white person comes in first, and the second, a black man, comes in just slightly after. They are not together and begin perusing the store. Who do you assist first?
The black person? Ah! that means you do not trust the black person alone in your store = racism.
The white person? Ah! That means you are not considering the history and systematic racism = racism.
There is no, ‘non-racist answer’ for the neo-racist. The only thing that matters to them is to elevate the consciousness of race. A neo-racist does not have a ‘how’. They demand a better society and power, but there is no pathway. The ideology is only about visibility and spreading. It is a virus ideology. They observe disparity in outcome and demand racism to solve racism. It is just class consciousness and lies to cover for failure. Do not play their game and take a lesson from Booker T. Washington (Up from Slavery) or Shelby Steele (White Guilt) or Thomas Sowell (Discrimination and Disparity & White Liberals and Black Rednecks)

Finally, during the summer Erin O’Toole would narrowly beat Peter McKay for leadership of the federal conservative party. O’Toole ran to the right to beat McKay, gaining more from Sloan and Lewis who were both socially conservative. O’Toole portrayed himself as anti-carbon tax, free speech warrior (standing up for Derek Sloan during the Dr. Tam scuffle) and fiscal conservative. He admitted that he was not going to touch the abortion debate, nor gay marriage but claimed he would be a strong conservative. Unfortunately, this worked on enough conservatives. Others did not trust O’Toole, noting a particularly weak ‘blow in the wind’ mentality.
