Chapter 11: Police State and Covid Protests
Earlier in this book it was mentioned that covid protests started near the start of the lockdowns and continued to gain steam. Most protests were met with varying levels of suppression in one form or another. “Journalists” joined in to mock the “Yahoo-nation.” A play on Ford-nation that helped elect Ford. 1 Some protested saying, “I want a haircut” or ‘the media is bought off’ to not criticize Trudeau, Ford, or other lockdown tyrants. Journalists chuckled at the spelling errors as they received paychecks with government bailout money.3 ‘Can you believe these desperate Canadians out of work and suppressed by their government spouting completely accurate conspiracy theories!?!’ The in-curious attitude of the media towards the Liberal party, accepting their premise is indicative of a bias. This would be solved if these bias companies were able to fail.
The governments intervention for the CBC and then for the other media sites has created a propaganda wing for the Regime. Several independent media sites formed in response to the bias in the legacy media that had a massive drop off in viewership. Rebel News, the largest competitor of this government cartel, amassing over a million subscribers on their YouTube site. Despite Susan Wojcicki’s censorship and pressure from Trudeau and the cartel to remove their competition. According to a US Navy report (paid for by Canadian government) and conducted by the university of Arkansas, Rebel News is the by far and away most engaged with news source for Canada on YouTube.4 Of course this analysis is a bit dubious as the study claimed that Rebel News is US based rather than being Toronto based (being formed from the ruins of Sun News).
Trudeau narrowly defeated the pathetic Andrew Scheer, but he and his government did not forget the one media site that was holding them accountable. His media puppets began a dis-information campaign categorizing them as far-right or anything else to imply Nazi. Rebel News is bias, they are right centre and cover stories from that perspective. They internally link to articles and could be more effective at laying out their website. But Rebel is accurate with their stories. They do not lie or not check sources like the New York Times (who admitted this during deposition to Project Veritas and court).5 Rebel News, True North (a branching out of former Toronto Sun journalists), Toronto Sun (specifically Joe Warmington and a few others), Post Millennial and Viva Frei have become some of the largest voices in the media space to push back against the lockdowns. The issue was bipartisan as many across the political spectrum were frustrated by the empty suits in all parties that all supported lockdowns.
A video of a 12-year-old boy being thrown to the ground by an OPP officer in northern Ontario (Gravenhurst, about 2 hours north of Toronto) went viral captured on April 20th, 2021.7 Of course, many were outraged at the shocking video sparking even further scorn for the new powers issued by the Premier and embraced by the corrupt OPP. Peel regional police stated that ‘they are investigating the incident.’ Unsurprisingly, no updates and no transparency were provided. So much for OPP Commissioner Thomas Carrique’s promise. The 12-year-old was riding a scooter along with around 12-14 other kids at the skate park.6 7
While most other police forces refused, the OPP embraced their new leather boots with glee and got right to work bullying kids for playing at the skate park, not wearing masks and general behaviour of a person at extremely minimal risk to covid. As per the usual arrangement the OPP denied any wrongdoing and stated, that the child failed to identify himself. Peel investigated and then re-assigned the officer.8 Did all OPP sign up to shove 12-year-olds for not wearing a mask. Normally, we’d call this assault. Who would have thought giving the police broad and unnecessary powers would lead to abuse?
Don’t you know you can’t protest here!
The seeds of 2020 bloomed into the 2021 fruit of unrest. Throughout Canada as the courts, judges, police, and politicians tore up the Charter and constitution over ever changing SCIENCETM. During the cold month’s protests were often small and individual efforts. In New Brunswick on January 24, 2021, a protesting couple, Nick DeAngelis, and Britney Green were harassed, jailed, and abused for their mask exemption and protests.1 Arrested for not wearing masks to grocery shop. The couple was then held for 12 hours, forced to wear N95 masks. A few weeks later the pair with a few others joined an anti-lockdown protest. This protest ended with the pair arrested and held for four days. Several of those days spent in solitary confinement. Jails decided that to enter the jail prisoners needed to be “isolated” to prevent infection of the population.
Often sadistic jailers extended these periods arbitrarily. Or solitary confinement was imposed when the political prisoners were transferred to a new jail or holding area. Conditions given to the pair for release was they could no longer communicate with their ‘anti-lockdown friends’. So much for free association. ‘But they were CRIMINALS!’ How dare they do the crime of PROTESTING. Yet another charter right infringement.
It took over a year (June 2022) for the couple (Nick and Britney) to be exonerated as “protests were not prohibited”. Was there any punishment for the officials that violated the couple’s Charter Rights? Nope. Has the judge that sanctioned these actions been censured/punished or stripped of his cushy position? When I make a mistake, I get fired. When judges, bureaucrats and politicians make mistakes they get a raise and promotion. Just move along citizen and pray the government does not infringe your rights again!
Protests around lockdowns and covid measures in Vancouver correlated with the arrest of a man called “C.D.” who opposed the SOGI or queer theory (indoctrination of abuse) of the court and ‘doctors’ that were attempting to transition his child without his permission. The large contention of the father (and the majority of Canadians) was that this child was not of age to make decisions without consent of the parents. This child was ‘transitioned’ without the parents’ knowledge at the school by a ‘psychologist’. This behaviour is, in any other context grooming. The mother accepted the outcome of grooming by the perverted psychologists. Whereas the father did not. Transitioning does not decrease suicidality of transgender persons2 and resolves in 85%3 4 5 6 of cases by the time the child matures to 18 years old. Prolonged hormone therapy will cause a person to become sterile and ‘acceptance’ mentality does not adhere to the truth of biology and moral truth.7
The Federal (and most provincial) governments methods rely on the now debunked Dutch protocols. How does the Fed (of ALL parties) deal with this inconvenience? By attempting to ban dissent (publication ban).
There are some doctors in that same area of Canada will brag that they have helped groom children. They coach children to lie to their doctors (and parents if necessary) about suicide, to obtain hormones and puberty blockers.8 The identity in Canada of this psychologist is censored from public thought along with the identity of the father and child. One could understand the publication ban on the child. But why for the father and the doctor? Specifically, the doctor appears to, by the protesters, be protected from scrutiny endorsing a state to seize children from the parents for castration/sterilization. In midwits managerial Canada, if a perverted Doctor says, “lie about suicide to obtain drugs”, you cannot criticism them! Was this not the charge thrown around about Canada’s involvement in Indian Residential School for genocide? Oh, and than jail the father for protesting or raising the alarm about this groomer doctor. Shame on Judge Tammen, Judge Mazari, and Judge Boden.9
After he was ousted from the conservative party Derek Sloan travelled to Alberta. On happenstance the day the fences went up around GraceLife and joined the peaceful protest. He continued his Western trip to Vancouver and joined Maxine Bernier in a protest over the lockdown and jailing of Father ‘C.D.’. Both headed back to Ontario to join Randy Hillier for several other protests throughout Ontario in Barrie, Hamilton and notably in Peterborough.10 In Peterborough, the same police chief and mayor (Diane Therrien) that knelt for BLM and joined in protests condemned the protest as a “travelling clown convention” and issued tickets for the late April protest.
Bernier continued to Quebec to join the approximately 100,000-person protest in Montreal on May 1st.11 The Montreal protest walked by Olympic stadium as documented by Rebel Media and Viva Frei.12 13 The protest was peaceful with some cases of police grabbing some protesters for not wearing masks outside or pepper spraying persons. The propaganda media gave this protest the pro-life treatment and dismissively call the protest of ‘1000s’ of people. It was a deliberate attempt to downplay the size of the protest. The size was closer to hundreds of thousands, rather than ‘thousands.’ Press progress, a left wing hate organization, exemplified the smearing tactic by claiming that this protest, which had been planned for a month, was responsible for “biggest Covid-19 vaccine site shut down thanks to online fringe groups, QANON… and Maxine Bernier”.14 CTV tried to link the protest with intent to close the covid-19 vaccine rollout.15
Protesters for the end of lockdowns did not care if someone was going to get vaccinated. They wanted to be given a choice and a voice. To be free to work, go to weddings, funerals, and school. To stop with ineffective and arbitrary lockdowns, mask mandates etc... But smear merchants are going to smear and if you ask them about the science, they will call you a denier because science is determined by polling… In typical framing close-up shots are of small sections of groups to give the illusion that there are few people at the protest. This is a typical tactic of dishonest ‘journalists.’ The same tactic was used in London for the end the lockdowns protest in March.16
Capital buildings for provincial governments and municipal governments became home to regular protests. Cynical covid apologists claimed that these protests were CERB protests, or government funded. This may have been partially true. Left wing activist routinely confess that on the ground protesting by the left wing is paid work. These anti-covid policy protests, however, did have one major difference. Instead of protesting for hand outs, anti-covid policy protests were protests for the government to go away. To stop imposing stupid arbitrary policies PREVENTING individuals from working. Some were fired over mask policies or layoffs from covid lockdowns. These large protests gained traction BECAUSE the government was failing the people. People protesting to end lockdowns were also protesting for an end to CERB and our fascist moment. Those that protest for socialism/fascism love CERB but somehow believe the “wrong people” got it during Covid.
Protesters were taking to the streets, the arbitrary and tyrannical fines and arrests scared off others from joining in the protests. The basic right of free assembly and right to protest were temporarily revoked in conjunction with other basic human rights. Later some fines or tickets for protesting were dismissed if the courts even cared to notice the Charter Right abuses. In the meantime, however, Right violations were open season. Who does it affect if persons wish to protest and end up sick? Rationally it would only be the persons protesting but the hysteria of overpopulated hospitals fueled the idea that these protests were ‘literally’ killing people. Has any information on covid spread from protests been put forth? No, nothing has been released to the people. Rights revoked and public health (government) were unable by 14 months (and later even to date) provide evidence/data to justify or stand the test in the court of law. Either courts hid or they took judicial notice of nonsense.
Huf Gym and I Will Open
In April 2021, a gym in Mississauga (Peel region near Toronto) in Ontario called Huf gym refused to continue to remain closed and go out of business. Citing the importance for physical fitness for mental and physical health the gym owners questioned the logic in allowing unlimited access to food and grocery stores while gyms were kept closed. Rebel News sent reporter Jay Lincoln to cover for their new “I Will Open” campaign.1 2 The small successful boxing gym opened as a protest to the chagrin of bylaw officers. Bylaw officers deployed their most powerful weapon! A SIGN!
The next day, April 16th, Global news smear merchant “reporter” Sean O’Shea attempted to incite a reaction for his yellow journalism. A police Sergeant sent to keep the peace attempted to calm heated rhetoric. Tempers flared as the confrontational reporter and gym patrons exchanged heated words over masks and the lockdowns. Sean O’Shea (tweet pictured below) a ‘consumer advocate’ was irate. How could the gym be opened! Sure, the gym had no cases of covid but somehow this was killing grandma! The police Sergeant sent to keep the peace did his job. He acted professional and de-escalated the situation.
Rather than meeting hostilities with violence he was understanding and personable. As the old saying goes ‘you can catch more bees with honey than vinegar’. The Sergeant hugged the protesters. Image a police officer empathizing with Canadians begging to be allowed to earn their keep! The Sergeant was not wearing a mask, and the ‘journalist’ Sean O’Shea was livid! Demanding to know why he was hugging protesters rather than arresting or ticketing them. The Sergeant, in a move to de-escalate, offered the “reporter” a hug. Incensed, O’Shea rejected this offer and went on an unhinged rant defaming the gym and the Sergeant through obsessive stories and tweets. O’Shea demanded action against the Sergeant for “accusing journalists of agitating attendees”.3 O’Shea followed the golden rule of narcistic psychotic propagandist by making himself the story rather than the events that occurring.
O’Shea is an activist working for an activist news site with government funding. Global news reporters, led by O’Shea, attempted a twitter campaign to get the Sergeant fired. The Peel police released a statement by Chief Duraiappah suspending the Sergeant pending an investigation over the incident.4 These activist journalists from Global news celebrated his suspension on twitter. This of course was forgotten by most when the Peel police reinstated the Sergeant on April 25th after an investigation found no wrongdoing. Global news reporters had to author a pathetic, whiny report for his reinstatement.5
One can only imagine the herculean effort Global News reporters feel when covering the pandemic. These brave heroes getting full pay for insane and inane rants and raves on a subject that most have less than zero understanding. Trust the media experts! These same reporters, who likely failed high school math and science, pontificate to their flock about the dangers of hugging and working out while they cram their face with another jelly donut.
These brave journalists sitting on twitter for hours to find their latest unverified smear only to stealth-edit after getting those clicks! This of course does not cover their bourgeois lifestyle in the city forcing them to grovel before the government for more taxpayer money. Have pity on these useless, parasitic fools. They were tricked into university for a useless degree and have a twitter addiction that forces them to believe that the only way they can improve themselves is by submitting to a powerful centralized government. As Benjamin Franklin said regarding America, “When the people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.” The same applies to Canada.
While Huf Gym continued to receive fines, they remained open much to the dismay and anger of the ‘journalists’, politicians, and public health officials. Ontario police officers seemed to be taking a small step back as public pressure began to mount. Officers also live in, or live close to the communities they police. The longer and crazier the covid policies, the harder it is to justify without evidence (and contrary visual evidence). That is not to say that outrageous fines were not implemented. Neither does this mean that all police refused to enforce covid policies or that there were not any other crazy covid policy stories. A book much larger and written by others is required to fill in the space where it has been just briefly touched upon. Over a hundred businesses signed up to the “I Will Open” campaign for Rebel News with nearly all facing large fines and some facing continued harassment by police, health services or in the worst case the ‘local community’.
There is a reason why the lowest circle of hell is for traitors. Tyranny can only exist when the oppressor can tear down the bonds of a community and replace them with suspicion and lies. Of course, reporting a crime, a morally evil action like murder or theft is a correct action. But to report on your brother, your neighbour for not wearing a mask, for celebrating a birthday party, religious worship, walking a dog or trying to operate an otherwise lawful business was the deepest cut and most damaging attack on Canada. Empowering busybody tyrants, Health officials and the Regime sought to drag all Canadians down together. The state, during covid, sought to replace the power structures outside of the state with the state. Nothing outside the covid state. A desperate swimmer is likely to grab onto anyone, even a person attempting to rescue them for just a few more seconds of air. They need a swift kick in the gut to temper their base animal instincts.
We must refuse to be subjected to these rules. Forming communities that refuse to submit our members for judgment by police or bylaw for insane policies. These policies worked in the husk of a functional society. We call the police when something is wrong to shirk responsibility. This delegates power (violence to police). While this has positives, it also means that someone unconcerned with the parties involved is now enforcing the will of those that directly pay him. We need to roll back the delegation of authority, of power, and of responsibility from the state to other power centres. Such as families, churches, groups, or communities.
The government has two purposes to divide us with fractionation (mass immigration to expand franchise to non-citizens for “give-mes”) and power grab. We cannot have a strong community in which everyone has bonds and knows, more or less, their place. If those people are rapidly and consistently changing.
Barber shops were closed then opened then closed again like playing with a light switch. Unsympathetic health officials and politicians claimed they care so much as they twisted the knife. These policies were for the greater good! Many were outraged that movie studios and productions were allowed to continue their work while all other businesses closed. It was odd that most politicians all remained well groomed despite the barber shop closures. A couple barber shops in St. Catherine’s Ontario re-opened as (film) production studios but still receive tickets.7 Particularly despicable were the death threats and busybody community response to the Spa opened by a single mother with a nasty Woke Facebook group harassed her salon.8
Health officials and politicians of the regime had one focus. They focused myopically on “just save one life” at any cost. The economic costs, personal, communal, and mental health costs were ignored. Some seemed to revel in their new power. Others appeared to develop or live out their masochist fetish. It took until the end of the pandemic for some Public Health officials to admit their myopic view. Francis Collins head of National Institute for Health (USA) perfectly explained the position of Health Officials like Dr. Tam,9
“If you’re a public health person and you’re trying to make a decision, you have this very narrow view of what the right decision is, and that is something that will save a life. It doesn’t matter what else happens. So, you attach infinite value to stopping the disease and saving a life. You attach zero value to whether this actually totally disrupts people’s lives, ruins the economy, and has many kids kept out of school in a way that they never quite recovered. Yeah, Collateral Damage. This is the public health mindset. And I think a lot of us involved in trying to make those recommendations had that mindset, and that was really unfortunate.”
