Introduction
This book was written for two reasons. The first as a cathartic release during the descent into covid madness and abuse. In a few short days, Canadians (and people around the world) went from lives of relative liberty to shut-ins petrified of leaving their homes over drastically overblown fears of a contagious virus. Politicians morphed from things people ignored to dominating prime time with a hostage audience. Public relations ‘Doctors’ went from pencil pushing to running the economy and directing the lives of millions. The unchecked power lasted two and a half years culminating in the Freedom Convoy.
The second reason, to act as a witness to the corrupt, incompetent, malicious and power-hungry bureaucrats. In hope of achieving some measure of Justice and Accountability, so this abuse will not be repeated.
Starting with examining the origin of covid. This book seeks to navigate a rough timeline of Ontario’s (and Canada) covid years. The lockdowns, the masks policies, the 2 meter of social distancing, the ever changing and arbitrary covid policies. Media, Politicians and Public Health were in lockstep to gin up hysteria over covid. “2 Weeks to flatten the curve” morphed into an extended stay at home order where schools, business, physical health and mental health were all sacrificed “to just save one more life.”
When these policies failed to stop the spread and continuance of the covid pandemic, new and harsher policies were implemented with little consideration of their efficacy. Vaccine passports, once scoffed at as a “paper’s please” totalitarian nightmare, spread in supposed liberal democracies. Enacted by politicians that swore up and down and coast to coast they would never infringe rights by implementing a vaccine mandate policy. Those that refused the experimental and rushed vaccine were branded “anti-vax” or “un-vaxed”. Employees were fired over vaccine mandates, students expelled, medical treatments denied, mobility and worship rights censured, and families torn asunder. Canada, like many western countries, walked right up to the edge of a cliff. Only time will tell if we jumped in.
This book seeks to ask the questions that were censored during the pandemic in an abusive, gaslighting attempt to control the narrative:
● Why were effective prophylaxis treatments banned?
● After measures failed what led to the continued implementation of those measures?
● What metrics (if any) were used to analysis the successive measures and what feedback checks were used to remove ineffective measures?
● Now that the evidence is clear that mandates did not work, why are bureaucrats resisting a ban on these programs?
● Were risk assessments conducted to determine the risks of each type of mandate?
● When politicians broke covid rules, why did they never get punished for it?
There must be change. A dialog has clearly blossomed from the Freedom Convoy (and the associated protests and organizations). Which direction this conversation goes depends on being well informed. It depends on open and free communication of ideas. But most importantly it depends on you. My dear reader. It depends on you joining the fight. We all have a duty to plant trees under which we will not sit.
