Chapter 1: Origin

Most Canadians were completely unaware of the looming threat at the end of 2019. The country was on an election hangover after Justin Trudeau’s cult of personality survived multiple scandals, including: SNC Lavalin (pressuring his Attorney general to let off an extremely corrupt liberal donor’s company, firing her when she would not play ball, then replacing her with David Lametti who promptly let SNC off the hook) and the blackface photos, to scrape by on a minority government. The conservative party of Canada once again snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory under the weak leadership of Andrew Scheer. The bold plan of ceding all cultural and economic ground--except lowering taxes with better leadership--somehow led to a loss for Scheer against the trust-fund media darling.

Across the pacific in Wuhan, odd occurrences began to slowly leak out of that oppressive state to the internet. On December 30^th, 2019, Dr. Li Wenliang sent a message to fellow doctors warning about a bunch of cases that resembled SARS with pneumonia like symptoms while working in Wuhan Central Hospital, Hubei province, China.¹ The next day, live streaming platforms in China, began to block words associated to Wuhan and Pneumonia.² Taiwan began sounding the alarm about ‘atypical pneumonia cases’ in Wuhan to World Health Organization (W.H.O). The Wuhan Municipal Health Commission denied Taiwan’s assertion and declared, “The investigation so far has not found any obvious human-to-human transmission and no medical staff infection.”³(italics added for emphasis by author). On January 1^st, 2020, while everyone around the world was celebrating the new year, oblivious to the coming tyranny, Dr. Li Wenliang was brought to the Public Security Bureau in Wuhan.^{1 4 5} He, along with eight others, was forced to sign a denouncement of his behaviour in spreading false statements that disturbed the public order. That same day the Huanan Seafood Wholesale ‘Wet’ Market in Wuhan was closed for “environmental sanitation and disinfection.”⁶

On January 3^rd China’s National Health Commission (NHC) blocked all publication of any information related to the unknown disease. Labs were ordered to transfer any samples to designated testing institutions or destroy them. It is unclear if there were any designated testing institutions.⁷ While other countries close to China (Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan) began extra screening of travellers. China waited until January 7^th to confirm it has a new disease called coronavirus.⁶ President Xi Jinping ordered Wuhan officials to control the outbreak.⁸ The W.H.O. issues a travel guideline urging countries to not close their borders “W.H.O. does not recommend any specific measures for travellers. W.H.O. advises against the application of any travel or trade restrictions on China based on the current information available … According to Chinese authorities, the virus in question can cause severe illness in some patients and does not transmit readily between people.” on January 9^th.¹

Dr. Theresa Tam (Chief Public Health Officers of Canada) tweeted out “Travelling to China? Be aware of an outbreak of pneumonia of unknown cause in Wuhan city, Hubei province. Consult the travel health notice before you go & contact your healthcare provider if you feel ill after your return.”¹ The complacency continued as China continued to feed misinformation to the world and W.H.O. On January 14^th, the W.H.O. tweeted out, “According to the latest information we have, there is no clear evidence of sustained human-to-human transmission and there are no infections reported among health care workers.”¹ This misinformation from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) spread rapidly and caused many to dismiss the disease. Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, in an April 13^th W.H.O press conference, stated: “Right from the start, from the first notification we received on the 31st of December, given that this was a cluster of pneumonia — I’m a MERS specialist, so my background is in coronaviruses and influenza — so immediately thought, given that this is a respiratory pathogen, that of course there may be human-to-human transmission.”⁹

The W.H.O allowed China to lie to the world because of politics. Taiwan was ignored. This led to an embarrassing interview in which a Canadian W.H.O. representative, Dr. Bruce Aylward, pretends not to hear a question about Taiwan from a Hong Kong reporter and then abruptly ends the call. ^{10 11} Observers would not be shocked to find corruption in W.H.O. and UN with Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus who mismanaged several Ebola Crises and was very vocal about his far-left political preference.

Patty Hajdu (Canada’s Health Minister) on January 19^th stated “Based on the latest information that we have, there is no clear evidence that the virus is easily transmitted between people,”.¹² A day later a Chinese respiratory expert Zhong Nanshan said that person-to-person transmission has been confirmed.¹³ But Dr. Tam that same day said, “It is important to take this seriously, and be vigilant and be prepared. But I don’t think there’s reason for us to panic or be overly concerned.”¹³

Minor screening efforts were introduced on January 22^nd to major airports in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver. Taiwan banned travel from Wuhan on January 22/23 and the W.H.O. released a statement confirming that human-to-human transmission is taking place in Wuhan.¹⁴ CCP authorities started to lock down Wuhan by suspending all public transport and preventing travel in-and-out for a population of 11 million. Strangely, it has been noted that international travel was not restricted by China.¹⁵ With many Chinese nationals travelling on or around to celebrate Chinese New Year on January 25^th.

Hajdu stated “Measures to mitigate the risk of introduction and spread of diseases like the new coronavirus in Canada are in place, including messaging on arrival screens at the Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver international airports reminding travellers to inform a Border Services Officer if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms, and an additional health screening question on electronic kiosks used by international travellers.”³⁴ However, this generally meant an honour system of self reporting. On January 27^th, 2020, the first confirmed case in Canada related to travel from Wuhan, China.

Pressure began to mount for some sort of response towards the end of January leading to political theatre in which the Liberals attempted to deflect criticism of W.H.O. and snubbing of Taiwan. Public Health officials and politicians in the West initially sought to shame and bully their citizens with identity politics. Conveniently, especially for Canadian politicians, this adhered to the propaganda lies of the CCP. Obfuscating the link between the virus and Wuhan, China. Ignoring the domestic Chinese lockdowns and the calls from Chinese Canadians or Chinese Americans to enact more screening methods. Those dang Chinese Canadians being racist against Chinese!

“I am concerned about the growing number of reports of racism and stigmatizing comments on social media directed to people of Chinese and Asian descent related to 2019-nCoV coronavirus… Everyone has a part to play in preventing the spread of the virus. The Chinese community and all travellers from affected areas are a key part of these efforts…. Racism, discrimination, and stigmatizing language are unacceptable and very hurtful. These actions create a divide of Us Vs Them. Canada is a country built on the deep-rooted values of respect, diversity, and inclusion.”¹⁶

Nowhere in the constitution or charter are the values of diversity and inclusion. Racism became the target and rally point for progressives leading to Italy’s “hug a Chinese” campaign.¹⁷ To signal their virtue (their narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy) all the usual suspects joined the cause to root out all this discrimination and hate that was directed towards “our Chinese community”. Mayor John Tory, and most other Liberal progressives flocked to their phones to #stopthehate. Crying out at the name commonly used to refer to the virus, “Chinese Flu” or “Wuhan Virus/Flu” or "Wu-Flu” or “CCP virus” calling it racist. Implying that it was blaming Chinese people for the flu, like the Spanish flu.¹⁸ Even if the name, like most names that stick and have purpose. Designating where the virus came from rather than who caused the virus. It was more important for Dr. Tam to point to six cases, with bad facts and dubious credibility, of anti-Asian hate than prepare for the virus.

These six cases of “anti-Asian hate” were random incidents with unknown motivations (thereby Dr. Tam and others ascribed motives), but one case should be highlighted in all its infamy. Much hay was made about a petition that was started in York Region that has a higher population of Chinese persons. The petition called for a 17-day self-quarantine for students or staff who recently returned from China and allow students to wear safety equipment, including respirators masks during school.^{19 20} The school board and every other dark triad politician or HR or PR or media personality rushed to get their racism condemnation tweet out.

“Anti-Chinese racism” is exactly the propaganda that is used by the CCP to insulate the Chinese people away from other freer countries. This sleight- of-hand substitutes one group (Chinese persons) for another (CCP). Further it is an attempt by CCP officials to place themselves as spokespersons of the group (Chinese people). No one stopped to imagine if it was a mostly Chinese school board that it might have been started by a parent of Chinese dissent that had a rational fear about the virus. Nor were any apologies issued by government officials or media when the petition was essentially enacted into law throughout the land. It must not be forgotten that racism has no other meaning to these psychopaths than a convenient political hammer. The criticism of CCP is “racism hoax” was pushed by Juanita Nathan York (Region District School Board chair), Louise Sirisko director of education²¹, CTV News, John Tory, and City News. Congratulations to Sun News and CP24 for honestly covering the story.

Dr. Tam adhered to the W.H.O. party line on January 29^th. when she stood for questioning. All parties showed concern towards the emerging virus and questioned the logic of maintaining open borders. There are some theories that the W.H.O posturing and policies were due to three causes: CCP pressure, cover their asses (always assume the worst), or manufacture consent to steal more power. Dr. Tam maintained,

“Canada’s risk is much, much lower than that of many countries. It’s going to be rare, but we are expecting cases. It doesn’t matter how few those cases are. We are preparing the whole country in the event that you might pick up a rare case. That actually is what we’re doing right now, preparing. It is going to be rare, but you’re going to have some.”¹

It appears Dr. Tam was convinced that Covid-19 (as it would later be named) would be the same as the first SARS outbreak that reached Canada and killed only a few people due to its lack of transmissibility. The next day the W.H.O. declares a global health emergency, but director Tedros and UN ambassadors continue to praise the CCP response. Many would question the effectiveness and competency of Tedros and to petition for his resignation. In the coming days, the Liberal government would be continually grilled by NDP (Davies), Liberals (Powlowski) and Conservatives about open borders and about tracking of Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) those coming into Canada from abroad. Hajdu, Dr. Tam and MacKinnon would stand in deflection and obfuscate to complete the political theatre. Officials would admit that persons are not being tracked but the honour system is being used currently.³⁵
